Getting a clean result
Removing a person
Brush over the whole person, shadow included; a shadow left behind gives the game away. It works best when they stand clear of other people and in front of something simple, like a wall, sky or sand. Whatever was behind them is invented from the pixels around them, so a busy background shows the join more than a plain one.
Removing text
Brush each line with a small margin, so no edge of a letter survives. Text over a plain area, such as a caption on sky or a label on a wall, fills cleanly. Text laid across a face or fine pattern is where the result softens. For a watermark, the photo watermark remover opens with a box, which is quicker for a rectangle.
What it cannot do
It fills with something plausible, not something true: it cannot know what was really behind the object. The larger the area, the more it has to invent, so a small object comes out far better than a large one. Photos up to 4096 pixels on the longest edge are handled at full size; larger ones are refused rather than quietly shrunk.
Removing an object, step by step

QUESTIONS
Before you start
How large an object can it remove?
Small and medium objects on ordinary backgrounds fill convincingly. Anything covering a large part of the frame will produce something plausible rather than something true.
Can it remove a person?
Usually, if they are not overlapping other people or complex structure. Expect to touch up the edges.
